Diary of a madman in Indian Politics
I placed here four short stories to know the falsehood of above statement of Sonai Gandhi. These include Chinese Short Story: Diary of a madman also.

Short story of an Intelligent mad
I recall an event. I will not mention here the name of place and the identity of the persons. Two brothers were good friends of mine. Both brothers were married and loved each other. Younger of them became mentally disturbed. On the suggestion of elder younger brother accepted to admit in the madhouse. When they reached the outdoor of it then younger said he first wanted to meet the doctor there. Untill elder had to wait outside. Mentally disturbed younger brother entered into the madhouse and said to the doctor, “My elder brother waiting outside is mad. Due to his madness he believes that except him all other family members are mad. So please don’t believe on his words and admit him here,” After that he went out and came with his elder brother. Ultimately instead of mentally disturbed younger brother, elder brother is hospitalized in the madhouse.
The above story may be similar to the actor Aamir Khan and his brother Faisal.

Story: one tells the truth and the other always lies
I read some where other story: A man, who is dying, is in a bar. Two women are seated at a table. One always tells the truth and the other always lies. In front of the women are two glasses, one contains a drink that will cure the man, the other a poison that will kill him. What one question should he ask?
"Would woman this drink would cure me?" If the answer is no, drink that one. If she says yes, drink the other one. Not much of a variation
Tell both women to take a sip of their respective drink.

Chinese Short Story: Diary of a madman
As suggested by Sonia Gandhi when she was on China-tour, I myself tried to learn from China and found China's first major "modern" short story of Lu Xun (1881-1936) ‘Diary of a madman’.
The story begins with the narrator's visit to a pair of brothers who were close friends of his during his school years. The older brother informs him that the younger one suffered from a mental illness but got better and took a job in another city.
During the time of his illness the brother kept a diary that the narrator is allowed to read. This is the "madman's diary" and its text constitutes the bulk of the story. The diary tells of the protagonist's growing obsession with the cannibalism which he believes is routinely practiced by those around him. He is convinced that sooner or later he will be eaten. As his paranoia increases and with it his sense that cannibalism is widespread and prevalent even within his family, he despairs of saving himself. The diary ends with a poignant plea to "save the children."

Tonight the moon is very bright.
I have not seen it for over thirty years, so today when I saw it I felt in unusually high spirits. I begin to realize that during the past thirty-odd years I have been in the dark; but now I must be extremely careful. Otherwise why should the Zhao’s' dog have looked at me twice?
I have reason for my fear.

Tonight there is no moon at all; I know that this is a bad omen. This morning when I went out cautiously, Mr. Zhao had a strange look in his eyes, as if he were afraid of me, as if he wanted to murder me. There were seven or eight others who discussed me in a whisper.,,,,,,,,

……………………………… They eat human beings, so they may eat me.
The most extraordinary thing was that woman on the street yesterday who was spanking her son. "Little devil!" she cried. "I'm so angry I could eat you!" Yet all the time it was me she was looking at. I gave a start, unable to hide my alarm.

Lu Xun's deliberately took the title of "Diary of a Madman" from Russian novelist Nikolai Gogol (1809-1852) whose story deals with an office worker who comes to believe he is the king of Spain.
