Dumka Jail Vs 10 Janpath: Super CM to Remote CM

How can we check the misuse of powers by political leaders? List of visitors to him in Dumka Jail shows that now he is remote CM to supersede Super CM to follow Remote PM Sonia Gandhi.

Has political future of Soren been ended after getting life sentenced?
If we come on the reality ground in the country like India all the powers really vests in this politicians only. Siboo soren gets life term and put into Tihar jail. but with kind interference of deputy of Super PM Manmohan Singh he is enjoying royal life in Dumka jail

Serving a life term in Shashi Nath Jha murder case, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren now monitors the Jharkhand politics from Dumka Jail to be a remote CM from Super CM. Soren will remain in Jharkhand till the trial is completed of two murder cases, including a 1974 murder in Giridih district. The Chirudih case relates to the killing of 11 people including nine Muslims in 1975. Soren is accused of inciting a mob to kill people dubbed "outsiders".

Till the JMM chief was in Tihar jail in New Delhi, the JMM leaders were silent and did not pass any statement. Now they are reported to be getting "guidelines" from their "Gururji" (Shibu Soren).

The former coal minister is enjoying VIP status in Dumka jail. The jail authorities are on their toes to fulfil the demands of the jailed JMM leader, said one source.

On Jan 29 JMM executive committee has decided that Shibu Soren will continue as its president. The move came after Jharkhand Mukti Morcha workers seemed reluctant to accept Rupi Soren as their leader in absence of beleaguered party president Shibu Soren at the national executive meet in Deoghar. According to the sources, Soren wants his wife to be elected working president of the party in his absence while he can continue as president. But differences have cropped up over the issue at the three-day JMM convention that began at Deoghar on Saturday.

The Shibu Soren is still mighty in Jharkhand and controls the rein of state government from behind bars. The Dumka Jail, where he is confined, has suddenly become high profile as often leaders and bureaucrats arrive to meet Soren. Recently a senior IAS went to jail to seek blessing of Soren to become next CS of state and Soren showered praise on him

CM Madhu Koda, Deputy CM Stephen Marandi with other ministers and bureaucrats has met imprisoned Remote CM Soren. The chief minister of a state, holding a constitutional position, is not expected to call on a convicted prisoner. When Madhu Koda, therefore, arrives here on an official visit, he would be visiting the Dumka jail on the pretext of inspecting the prison.
Other ministers apparently require no such camouflage. A steady stream of ministers and important “leaders” has been arriving at the prison here to commiserate or consult with the JMM leader, upsetting lesser mortals and normal functioning of the jail. Bhola Manjhi, lodged in Dumka jail for the past one and a half months, finally obtained bail on Monday. But his hapless wife, Chano Devi, has not been able to meet her husband with the good news due to the “VIP” inmate. Prison officials sheepishly admit that because of the rush of VIPs and also because Soren himself likes to park himself in the jail superintendent’s office, routine work has suffered.
Jharkhand ministers, legislators and workers of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) made a beeline for Dumka jail to meet party leader. When controversial Bhanu Pratap Shahi recently took oath as a minister Bhanupratap, he met to Soren in jail and got his blessings.

The Forward Bloc in Jharkhand has withdrawn its support to chief minister Madhu Koda’s government over legislator Bhanu Pratap Shahi’s entry into the cabinet. While the move might not pull the government down, it may create a fresh political crisis in future. The Koda government currently enjoys a razor thin majority and a single legislator vote may jeopardize its survival. In the 82-member house, Mr Koda enjoys the support of 42 legislators including the Speaker. The opposition has 40 legislators, which includes one legislator each of Forward Bloc and Communist Party of India-Marxist Leninist (CPI-ML). The Forward Bloc had earlier warned Mr Koda against elevating Bhanu Pratap as minister. But Bhanu Pratap replaced his father Hemendra Pratap Shahi as minister on Thursday. Within a few hours of his elevation, the Forward Block announced their withdrawal of support. Bhanu Pratap is an expelled legislator of the Forward Block. He had been facing arrest warrants in three cases. When his name was put up for a minister’s post last year, Governor Syed Sibte Razi raised objections. To placate him, his father was made a cabinet minister though Hemendra Pratap was not a legislator. Bhanu Pratap surrendered in the Garwah district court last year and got bail in all three cases last month.
The NDA has a total of 37 MLAs — BJP(30), JD-U(6) and a nominated MLA. AJSU has two MLAs — Sudeh Mahto and Chandraprakash Choudhury. While Mahto sits in the opposition bench, Choudhury joined the Koda cabinet with a green signal from the party. AJSU, which had been in the NDA bloc for six years, is headed by Mr Mahto. “There is no threat to the government. We will try to pacify the Forward Block and convince them to continue their support,” said Sudhir Mahto, deputy chief minister and senior Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader. Opposition BJP described the withdrawal of support “an eye-wash. Pradesh unit president P N Singh said: “The Forward Bloc’s move is just an eye wash. Why didn’t they withdraw support when his father was made minister?”

Shibu Soren was in a celebration mood at Dumka Jail
Shibu Soren was reportedly in a celebration mood at Dumka Central jail and so were his party workers all across the state. The occasion was Soren’s 64th birthday on Jan 11. While, the JMM workers at Jamshedpur cut a huge cake in the hub of the town to mark Soren’s birth anniversary, the day reportedly saw the distribution of sweets and sweaters among Sorens’s co-prisoners at Dumka Central jail.

“Yes, Shibu Soren’s birthdays have always been a low key affair. But now we have decided to celebrate it in purely desi manner. We hope our prayers would come to his rescue. Long live Guruji, long live,” said a party worker. Interestingly, the JMM chief has never celebrated his birthday before. “This time Guruji laid bare his wishes to distribute sweaters among inmates of Dumka jail after he found one of his co-prisoner braving the biting cold without a sweater,” said sources close to the Soren family.

The day also witnessed Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda and Soren’s bitter bete noire Stephan Marandi spending over half an hour with Soren at the jail.
Before two days state president of Janta Dal (United) has met Soren in Dumka Jail with intention to make a new combination. Former BJP state president and former CM Babulal Maradi alleged that Shibu Soren has hijacked the Jharkhand government of Koda.
