During his Norco Analysis test in Bangalore, RavindraKantrole alias Rahim, the man who was being suspected of being the Mumbai serial killer, admitted that he killed at least 20 people during the last two years and seven in the last 3/4 months alone.
The Mumbai police have also conducted a handwriting test. His fingerprint test is being done on Feb 15. Another Norco test would be conducted on him on Feb 16.
The first murder took place on December 14 near Marine Drive
The second murder took place five days later near Thackersay Chowk
Six days later another man was killed near Church gate station
On January 11, another body was found near the Marine Lines foot over bridge
The killer left a beer can at the first two crime scenes, which earned him the nickname of "Beer Can Killer" The last murder was of a man at a normally desolated foot over bridge at Marine Lines in south Mumbai.
They say that they need more clinching evidence as the results of narco-analysis tests are not admissible in the court of law.

The fourth report on "Ethics in Governance" that was presented to Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh by the Chairman of the second Administrative Reforms Commission (ARC) Veerappa Moily on Monday has recommended that a new ombudsman Rashtriya Lokayukta would not enquire into the complaints filed against Prime Minister, since the latter is accountable to Parliament only. And because of that Super PM who is hidden behind PM also is saved by the Report. This is an example of intelligence of fooling.

Already facing a flak for pursuing an appeasement policy and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's `Muslims first remark', the Centre is set to embark on another pro-minority scheme that could trigger fresh controversy.
According to local press reports, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government has decided to identify as many as 200 villages with 100 percent Muslim population to be developed as model villages countrywide under the Prime Minister's Adarsh Gram Yojana.
According to well-placed sources in the Planning Commission, the new scheme is going to be one of the salient features of the UPA government's budget for 2007-08.
The Plan Panel has approved Rs 100 million as a token amount for the scheme that would be revised depending on the demand.
The populist scheme may not stop at benefiting only villages with 100 percent Muslim population. The government is likely to consider watering down the criteria in the next financial year by extending the scheme to villages with mixed population and Muslim majorities.
"A lot would depend upon how the State Governments respond to the scheme. They will have to send the detailed project reports (DPRs) for such villages to get the funds. Such DPRs would be evaluated at different levels before the Ministry for Minority Affairs grants approval to release the funds," a source in the Planning Commission said.
The sop, in the form of `model villages', comes in continuation of the Sahar Committee report on upliftment of Muslims and banking institutions being told to set aside a certain amount of loans to be disbursed among the country's major minority community.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment would be the nodal agency for monitoring implementation of the scheme in the case of SC villages.
Such villages, once developed, will have 24x7 power and water supply, silky roads, well-furnished hospitals, schools, and all other basic amenities, which a normal village otherwise cannot dream to have even after 60 years of independence.
