* Chimp can’t receive donation: Even as per judge the chimp can’t receive a gift because Under Austrian law, only a person can receive personal gifts.
* No one can be chim’s gurdian: In April, a district court judge rejected a British woman's petition to be declared Pan's legal guardian. That court ruled that the chimp was neither mentally impaired nor in danger, the grounds required for an individual to be appointed a guardian.
* No one can appeal in the case of Chimp:In dismissing the Association Against Animal Factories' appeal this week, the provincial court said only a guardian could appeal. That doesn't apply in this case, the group contends, since Pan hasn't gained a guardian.
* Legal battle in now in the Supreme Court: There is legal precedence in Austria for close friends to represent people who have no immediate family, "so he should be represented by his closest friends, as is the case," said Eberhart Theuer, the group's legal adviser. "On these grounds we have appealed this decision to the Supreme Court in Vienna," he said.

People pay a premium to eat more great apes each year than are now kept in all the zoos and laboratories of the world. If the slaughter continues at its current pace, the remaining wild apes in Africa will be gone within the next fifteen to fifty years.
With them will vanish most of the equatorial rain forest, and the cultures of indigenous people who have lived there for millennia.
May these not be identity of human beings, as investigation is still going on?

Media reported ON Sept 28: LIMA (Reuters) - Ecologists have photographed a little-known nomadic tribe deep in Peru's Amazon, a sighting that could intensify debate about the presence of isolated American Indians as oil firms line up to explore the jungle.
Carrying arrows and living in palm-leaf huts on the banks of the Las Piedras River, the tribe was glimpsed last week by researchers flying over the Alto Purus national park near the Brazilian border to look for illegal loggers.
"We saw them by chance. There were three huts and about 21 Indians -- children, women and young people," said Ricardo Hon, a forest scientist at the National Institute of Natural Resources.
