Alberto Fujimori, Peru's former president is now in the jail. He has made romantic history to marry with his girl friend from the prison. Japanese origin Fujimori looted then flied Japan. As media reported today on Jan 4, 2008, Fujimori has been accused of ordering the deaths of his opponents. Seven members of a secret Peruvian army unit, who claim to have killed several government opponents in the 1990, have said they received their orders from Fujimori who has been already sentenced to six years in prison on Dec. 11, 2007 for an illegal raid.

From there, he faxed in his resignation and took up Japanese citizenship. A request for extradition was made with the Japanese government. It was shot down by Japan on the grounds that its laws did not allow the extradition of any Japanese citizen for crimes committed elsewhere.
