Congress could not declare its candidate for CM post in Gujarat and Himachal assemble election. Leaders of Congress say that Congress follows democratic norm in the selection. Is blind following of a dynasty means democracratic way. So Congress follows bogus democracy to fool the people.
Democracy is however not for a blind following of a dynasty. Democracy expects citizens to reason so that they may make the best decision without binding him to a pole. They should not be moved around a pole as ‘Expeller-bull’. Majority rule through blind followers is but mob rule. Are Congress leaders mature enough to build skyscrapers but too childish to elect the leadership due to blind following tendency?


Advani as BJP candidate for PM post

BJP has declared Advani as its choice for PM post. NDA has not raised the question on that. NDA in this way buried the question mark who will be next after Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Vajpayee has already decared his retirement from the active politics. Though, his guidance will be available to the BJP and the NDA.


Congress is uncertain

Congress leaders are uncertain as they are not sure whether party president Sonia Gandhi will project Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for a second term. It is also not certain whether she herself or her son Rahul Gandhi will now contend for the top government post as and when the general elections are held.

The choice before Sonia Gandhi and Dr Singh is to reserve Premiership for Dr. Singh till 2009 and forego the nuclear deal, or go ahead with their commitment to US President George W. Bush and then throw the ball in the court of Left finally.

Victims of martyrs returned their medals
In the past demanding Mohd Afzal's execution, families of the security men who died in the 2001 Parliament terror attack returned the gallantry medals they had received in honour of the slain personnel to the Rashtrapati Bhavan as a mark of protest over the delay in carrying out the sentence. When? Tulsidas said his wife Oh! Mother

Short Story

Tulasidas was born in the year 1532 to a Brahmin family in the town of Rajapur in the district of Banda in Uttar Pradesh of India.

But the turning point in his life came a few years after his marriage.

* One day, he went out leaving his wife at home. When he returned he didn’t find his wife there, she had gone to her father’s place with her brother who visited in the absence of Tulsi Das.
* This made Tusli Das very sad. He was unable to bear the separation. He just could not sleep and live without his wife. His passionate became so uncontrollable that he at once set out for his father-in-law’s house.

* He walked a long distance in the dark, through wind and rain, just to be with her. On the way he found a swollen river in the dark. But he jumped into the river and swam across it. He mistakenly took a dead body for a boat to cross the swollen river. After crossing it he reached at his father-law’s home. But he found all the doors closed there.

* Since his wife's room was on the upper floor, he had to climb in order to reach her room. Taking a python to be a thick rope, he scaled it and slipped into his wife's room.

* Wife awoke at that moment. Tulsidas Goswami said I have had to walk ten miles, in order to come for you. He expected his wife to be happy to see him and hear him. But instead, she was so ashamed of his insane attachment to her that she replied, “Yamuna is full of flood. I can not understand how you were able to enter the house” Tulsidas replied “Your love for me is so great that you threw a rope.” Ratnavali wondered to hear that. She had full confidence on her husband that he never said false. So she herself became anxious for knowing the reality behind that happening.

She said to her husband, “Show me the rope”. She lightened a deep (lamp) to look the rope through which Tulsidas climbed and reached her room.
Both surprised to see the great enormous serpent hanging down instead of rope.

Though, she thought that God blessed and saved the life of her husband (Suhag). But she wished to see the same spirit of her husband towards God instead of her. .

* Ratnavali said to her husband Tulsidas “My body is but a network of flesh and bones. If you would develop for Lord Rama even half the love that you have for my filthy body, you would certainly cross the ocean of Samsara and attain immortality and eternal bliss like a great saint.”

* Those words came as a shock to Tulsidas, a blow to his ego, and he himself must have felt extremely ashamed of his unintelligent and foolish attachment to her.

* He said to himself: "what a fool I have been all these years! I loved my wife with all my heart. But why should I have done so? I should have set my heart on something higher. I should have devoted my life to Rama."

"Later he became the renowned saint we know as Tulsidas."

Ratnavali was angered and remarked, 'You have spices in your possession, but not wife. What kind of renunciation are you?'

"After all his difficulties of crossing 10 miles hurdle, Tulsidas Goswami expected his wife to be happy to see him. But instead, she was so ashamed of his insane attachment to her that she said to him, 'Had you directed this craving that you have for me towards God, you would have realised God long ago.' Those words came as a shock to Tulsidas, a blow to his ego, and he himself must have felt extremely ashamed of his unintelligent and foolish attachment to her.

"He must have felt the burden of his attachment. Thus his whole being, every cell, every atom of his body, every heartbeat, every breath, and every pore of his body turned inward. That very moment he realised the heavy burden of attachment he had been carrying in the name of love. His heart skipped a beat to unload it and then was filled with pure love for God. At that moment he decided to die to his body-consciousness and to live in God-consciousness. He left his wife and home and wandered as an ascetic.
"Later he became the renowned saint we know as Tulsidas."

Should leader be God

People should not give the leaders a high position of worshipping. Their photo or statue should not live in pedestals or temples, either of their own making or built by their followers.
Leaders are men and women too, made of flesh and blood. They are susceptible in every stage you and I are. When you place a leader on a position of god, you can be sure that someday, somehow they will disappoint you.
